For all elementary schools participating in our ‘In School, 1st semester Program’, we have a competition at the end of the semester between the 5th grades (only) of all our participating schools for a traveling trophy that the winning school will keep for the entire year until the next competition! * Although there is no formal competition put on by Life Change Ballroom for the 2nd semester (or for grades other than 5th in our 1st Semester), we are always seeking places for our kids to showcase their talents. We also encourage each school to arrange an assembly at the end of the year for the other students to observe the new talents of their ballroom students. They can also have a formal “ball” one evening where the students and their parents come to dance - this could even be turned into a fundraiser for the school. The ideas are limitless!

What does each school need to provide?
We have no supply requirements and simply need adequate dance space—that can be a gym, cafeteria, auditorium or empty classroom. We do require at least one classroom teacher (or school administrator) to be present in the dance class at all times. To date, our program has been geared toward 5th graders (10-11 year olds); however, we are available to work with any age group from 8 years old & up!

We want to partner with schools that want more for their kids and have higher expectations for them. We believe when you expect more, you get more, and we believe each one of these kids has more to give! Through this program, we are committed to teaching them to:

BE more, DO more & HAVE more, so they can GIVE more!

The cost is $2,500 per semester for classes with up to 40 students. We are getting rave reviews from the teachers, principals, parents and students of our already enrolled schools! *
