Originally from Mississippi, Bryant did his undergraduate at Ole Miss, earning a double major in electrical engineering and computer science. Heeding a call to ministry, he then journeyed to Louisville to attend Southern Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity in Biblical and Theological Studies.

During his tenure at Southern, Bryant had the opportunity to become involved in ballroom dancing, first as a student and shortly thereafter as an instructor. Having taught at three different dance studios prior to his arrival at I've Got Rhythm, he now instructs in nearly 20 different styles of dance and is constantly working to improve his repertoire.
